2./     What do we process your data for and on what legal basis? / Is it possible to refuse the collection? 

Our website collects a range of data and information each time you or an automated system access it:

2.1.

We use personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, company name, legitimation data) that you voluntarily transmit to us in connection with the conclusion of a contract or the initiation of a contract conclusion (e.g. via our contact form, to contact us via E -Mail), due to the associated consent (Art. 6 Para.1 a DSGVO). This data will then be processed by us taking into account the legal provisions (e.g. the BDSG, the TMG and the DSGVO).

Without providing the personal data, we cannot meet our contractual obligations (e.g. answering your questions). Nor can we answer any of your inquiries.

If necessary, we process your data beyond the actual fulfillment of the contract to protect our legitimate interests or those of third parties (e.g.):

  • Review and optimization of procedures for needs analysis and direct customer contact; 

  • Advertising or market and opinion research, provided you have not objected to the use of your data; 

  • Assertion of Claims and Defense in Legal Disputes; 

  • address checks, detection of typographical errors;

  • Ensuring the IT security and IT operations of our company.

The processing is necessary to protect our legitimate interests (according to Article 6 Para. 1 f GDPR) and is justified by a balancing of interests in our favour. We only use your data to advertise our services if you have initially consented to this (Art. 6 Para.1 a GDPR) and your consent has not been revoked.

Without using this data, we cannot send you any direct mail. We only use your data for direct advertising for our services if you have initially consented to this (Art. 6 Para.1 a GDPR) and your consent has not been revoked. We also ensure that the communication channels chosen for advertising (e.g. post, e-mail) mean the least possible disruption to you.

4./    How long will your data be stored? 

4.1.    

If necessary, we process and store your personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage or if this is provided for by the European legislator for directives and regulations or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the person responsible for processing is subject became.

4.2.    

If you have given your consent to the processing of personal data (Art. 6 Para.1 a GDPR), we will delete this data at the latest as soon as you revoke your consent and if there is no other legal basis for the processing.

6./     What data protection rights do you have? 

You have a right to information under Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, the right to data portability under Art 20 GDPR and the right pursuant to Article 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your data. Furthermore, you have the right to information in accordance with Art. 19 GDPR if you have asserted your right to correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Consent to the processing of data can be revoked at any time (Art. 7 GDPR).

7./    right of complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you are currently staying or where you work or where an alleged infringement has taken place, if you believe that the processing of data concerning you personal data violates the GDPR.

8./    Use of cookies

We use cookies (the basis for making visiting our website attractive and enabling the use of certain functions). These are small text files that are stored on your computer. Cookies are used (e.g.) to support:

  • when saving preferences such as language or location;

  • when recording your browser settings in order to display our website optimally on your screen or

  • The following content is logged:

  • Name of retrieved file

  • Date and time of retrieval

  • amount of data transferred

  • Notification of successful retrieval

We use a cookie (“CookieDisallowed”) to ensure that cookies are removed during your visits (also in the future). 9./    Use of Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics enables us to analyze the behavior of website visitors. We receive various usage data, such as page views, operating systems used and origin of the user. This data is occasionally summarized by Google in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their device. We have no influence on this. Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the user to be recognized for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g. cookies). 

Our website only uses Google Analytics with the "anonymizeIp()" extension. This results in an anonymization of the IP address by shortening this address. A direct personal reference is thus prevented. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to Google LLC servers in the USA and shortened there.

The processing for reading out information on the device used only takes place if the user has given us an express consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit have given consent. We will not use Google Analytics without your consent.

On our website we use the reCAPTCHA function, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). This function enables a distinction to be made as to whether an entry is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing. The service also includes sending the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google.  The data is processed to safeguard our legitimate interest in the optimization and economic operation of our website (Art. 6 Para.1 f GDPR). Processing will only take place (if necessary) if the user has given us their express consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR and, if data is transferred to the USA, in accordance with Article 49 GDPR. We use Google Optimize, a service provided by Google ("Google Optimize"). Google Optimize analyzes the use of different variants of the website so that we are able to adapt the user experience to the behavior of the website users. Google Optimize is a tool integrated into Google Analytics and uses cookies.

The IP address received in this way is anonymized immediately after processing. In exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to a Google server in the USA and encrypted there. If data is transferred to the USA in accordance with Art. 49 GDPR, we will obtain your express consent beforehand.  The transmitted IP address will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser accordingly.

However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. We use the extended data protection mode. This is to ensure that the personal data is only saved when the playback function of the video is started. When the videos start playing, Google sets "YouTube" cookies to collect information about user behavior. Google uses these cookies to record video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive actions. If you are logged into YouTube, YouTube can immediately assign the visit to our website to your account. If you are also logged into your YouTube account, you would enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. When you visit our website, we use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is usually a 256-bit encryption.
